1. What is Sure Steps Connect?

Sure Steps Connect is an informative and interactive series of conferences—available exclusively to Sure Steps members—that is comprised of a variety of topics related to understanding, living with, and managing PAH. The conference series allows you to see and listen to important discussions on PAH, as well as participate in discussions with experts. Sure Steps Connect is an interactive experience between patients and experts—one you may find extremely useful.

2. Who can participate in the conference series?

Sure Steps Connect is open to any person who is a Sure Steps member. You must be registered with Sure Steps 10 days prior to the event in order to participate. It may take up to 10 days to confirm that you are receiving Actelion medications for PAH (prerequisite to become a member of Sure Steps) and generate your Sure Steps Connect ID.

New this year, is Sure Steps Connect: Friends and Family. If you wish to have a caregiver join you on the conferences please contact Sure Steps at 1-877-STEPS-50 (1-877-783-7750).

3. Is there a cost to participate in Sure Steps Connect?

There is no cost to participate in the conferences. The only requirement is that you are a Sure Steps member.

4. Do I have to pre-register to join a Sure Steps Connect session?

No. There is no pre-registration required. On the day of the conference go to www.SureStepsConnect.com and click on the “Join Today’s Live Event” icon to join the session.

5. I recently just joined Sure Steps, can I attend Sure Steps Connect?

You must be registered with Sure Steps approximately ten (10) days prior to the conference in order to confirm that you are receiving Actelion medications for PAH (prerequisite to become a member of Sure Steps) and generate your Sure Steps Connect ID.

6. How do I participate in the conferences?

You can participate in the conferences in one of two ways:

a) Participate Online:

•	Be sure to have your Sure Steps Connect ID number. • If you are a Sure Steps member and did not receive an ID number in the mail, call 1-877-STEPS-50 (1-877-783-7750).
•	If you are not already a Sure Steps member but would like to register with Sure Steps, call 1-877-STEPS-50 (1-877-783-7750). • You must register for Sure Steps within 10 days of the conference in order to participate.
•	On the date and time of the conference, go to www.SureStepsConnect.com and click on the “Join Today’s Live Event” icon to join the session. You will want to log in approximately 15 minutes before the conference is scheduled to begin.

b) Participate via telephone:

•	On the date and time of the conference, call 1-800-891-3472.

7. What are the minimum system requirements needed in order to access the online conferences?

The following system requirements are needed in order to access the conference online:

•	A computer (PC or Mac) with speakers
•	High-speed Internet connection (not dial-up)
•	Web browser (Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer is recommended)
•	Adobe Flash Player 8 or higher (Adode Flash Player can be downloaded free of charge from: http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/about/)
•	For optimal viewing, set your screen resolution to 1024 x 768 or higher
•	If you need help in determining system requirements or for technical support, call 1-877-843-9272.
•	If your system does not support the above requirements, follow the instructions for how to participate via telephone.

8. What types of questions can I ask during the conference?

You may ask any question that you wish to be answered. Please understand however that not all questions may be used due to a high volume of participants. The speakers will do their best to cover as many questions as possible. We apologize if your question is not immediately answered, but remember you can always call Sure Steps at 1-877-STEPS-50 (1-877-783-7750) to speak with a Nurse Counselor.

9. Will I be able to see which patients asked a question?

No. Questions from the audience will be asked by the moderator for each conference session.

10. Can I attend a conference if I’m in a different time zone?

Yes. You may participate in any conference no matter your location. All times on the website will be posted in Eastern Time. Call Sure Steps at 1-877-STEPS-50 (1-877-783-7750) if you need assistance with confirming the conference time in your time zone.

11. How many conferences may I participate in?

You may participate in as many conferences as you choose.

12. What topics will be discussed in the conferences?

All conference topics will be posted on www.SureStepsConnect.com. Scroll over each topic to find out more about the speaker and presentation.

13. Who are the experts delivering the presentations?

14. What if I experience difficulty logging into the conferences?

For technical support prior to the conference, call 1-877-843-9272. If you experience technical problems during the conference, call 1-800-891-3472 to listen to the conference via telephone.

15. How do I receive a Sure Steps Connect ID?

As a Sure Steps member, you are automatically assigned a unique Sure Steps Connect ID. Your Sure Steps Connect ID will be located on any materials you may have received regarding the Sure Steps Connect Program. It is also available by calling 1-877-STEPS-50 (1-877-783-7750).

16. I don't remember ever receiving a Sure Steps Connect ID number. What should I do?

Simply call Sure Steps at 1-877-STEPS-50 (1-877-783-7750).

17. What is PAH Pathways?

PAH Pathways is a value-added service and support program sponsored by Actelion for patients on Actelion medications for PAH and their healthcare teams. Trained counselors offer assistance in the following areas:

•	Verification of insurance coverage
•	Access to financial assistance programs for eligible patients
•	Access to therapy
