Kelly M. Chin, MD
Assistant Professor, Internal Medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center
Dr. Chin is an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and is the Associate Director of the UT Southwestern Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic. Dr. Chin earned her medical degree at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School at Dallas, and completed Pulmonary and Critical Care training at the University of California, San Diego.
She has focused her career on pulmonary hypertension, publishing several book chapters and review articles on this illness. She has also completed studies investigating risk factors for the development of pulmonary hypertension, and is the principle investigator for clinical trials investigating new medical therapies for pulmonary hypertension.

Terry A. Fortin, MD, MS
Assistant Professor of Medicine,
Duke University Medical Center
Dr. Fortin is an Assistant Professor in the Divisions of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine at the Duke University Medical Center. She has expertise in the care and treatment of pulmonary hypertension.
Dr. Fortin earned her degree at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, and subsequently pursued training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Duke University Medical Center.
Her clinical interests have focused on pulmonary arterial hypertension specifically idiopathic or primary pulmonary hypertension as well as that related to secondary causes including connective tissue or parenchymal lung diseases; congenital heart disease and diastolic dysfunction. She also serves as general and consultative cardiologist with performance of diagnostic cardiac catheterization and interpretation of cardiopulmonary stress tests.

Martha S. Kingman, RN, MS, FNP-C
Nurse Practitioner, Pulmonary Services - Heart and Lung Center
University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center
Martha Kingman, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner in the pulmonary hypertension clinic at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. She earned a bachelor degree from Tulsa University School of Nursing in Tulsa in 1986. She then worked in the emergency department setting as a staff nurse, then manager and finally director.
In 2000, she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing at Texas Woman's University in Dallas TX in the Family Nurse Practitioner program. She became board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and accepted the role nurse practitioner at UTSW Medical Center and remains in this role.
Martha is a member of the PH Resource Network and previously served on the planning committee for the national conference in conjunction with the Pulmonary Hypertension Association. She has chaired the Research and Publications Committee for the PH Resource Network and is a member of the PHRN Executive Committee. She also serves on nurse advisory boards and speaker's bureau for Actelion, United Therapeutics and Gilead.
Martha is published in the area of pulmonary hypertension as well as cystic fibrosis and has spoken at national conferences for both. She is also serving as sub investigator in several on-going pulmonary hypertension clinical trials. The majority of her clinical work involves the follow up care of a large group of pulmonary hypertension patients at UTSW Medical Center at Dallas. She is currently working on her Doctorate of Nursing Practice.

Abby Krichman, RRT
Associate in Research, Medicine-Pulmonary Manager,
Pulmonary Vascular Disease Center Duke University Medical Center
Ms. Krichman is the Administrative Director of the Duke University Pulmonary Vascular Disease Center. In this position, she manages the pulmonary hypertension research programs, as well as the clinical care for patients.
Ms. Krichman has over 18 years of experience working in the field of pulmonary hypertension. She has independently developed programs for both patient advocacy and physician awareness and served on the Pulmonary Hypertension Association Scientific Advisory Board for 10 years.

Joseph P. Stevenson, DO, FACC
President, Sierra Nevada Cardiology Associates
Dr. Stevenson earned his undergraduate degree at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, and was graduated from the Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Chicago, Illinois where he completed a rotating internship. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Rush-Presbyterian, St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He finished his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Rush-Presbyterian, St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois where he served as Chief Fellow. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Stevenson's professional interests include congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, pulmonary arterial hypertension, and transesophageal echocardiography. He joined Sierra Nevada Cardiology Associates in July 2000 and currently serves as President of Sierra Nevada Cardiology Associates.

Sean M. Studer, MD, MSc
Medical Director of Lung Transplantation and Director of Pulmonary Hypertension,
Newark Beth Israel Medical Center
Dr. Studer came to Newark Beth Israel Medical Center from the University of Pittsburgh where he served as Associate Director of the Pulmonary Hypertension Program and Director of the Pulmonary Transplant Medicine Fellowship. Prior to that, Dr. Studer was Chief of Pulmonary Transplant Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York, NY.
Respected as an expert in the field, Dr. Studer is a principal investigator for numerous clinical research initiatives. In addition to being the author of many articles, book chapters and abstracts, Dr. Studer serves as a manuscript reviewer for several medical journals including the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, Annals of Thoracic Surgery, Transplantation, and the Journal of Heart and Lung Transplant. He lectures nationally and internationally on lung transplant and advanced lung diseases.
Board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine, Dr Studer completed fellowships in Pulmonary and Critical Care as well as Advanced Lung Disease at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland.
